MAKATI BOMBING

MANILA, Philippines-  An explosion hit a passenger bus along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue in Makati City on Tuesday afternoon, leaving 2 persons dead and 15 others injured.

A radio dzMM report said the passenger bus -- a Newman Goldliner unit with plate number TXJ 170 -- was at the northbound loading bay of EDSA corner Buendia when the explosion happened at around 2:00 p.m..

Makati City Bus Bomb Explosion at 2pm January 25, 2011 – There has been a total of 4 persons confirmed dead and 16 others are admitted in nearby hospital – 10 in Saint Lukes Hospital; 6 in Ospital ng Makati. Police authorities reported that the bomb was placed in the 6th row seat by two still unidentified men who hurriedly got off the bus before the explosion happened at 2pm killing 2 persons immediately. The other two reportedly died in the hospital.

Bombings was never been a happy news were in fact it could ruin your day. This is one of the horrible news i heard. I always passed by this area. Now when i look at this street i imagine how innocent lives were taken because of this people who wanted bring chaos in our peaceful country.What i couldn't understand is how they can manage to plan this kind of devil things.

Kick-Ass Movie Trailer 2

Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), an ordinary teenager, becomes a real-life superhero in New York City, despite having no superpowers.

During his first attempt to fight crime, Dave is severely beaten, stabbed, and hit by a car, leaving him with permanent nerve damage and an enhanced capacity to endure pain. Surgical implants required to repair multiple skeletal fractures give him resistance to further bone-crushing injuries. He conceals the truth about the incident, claiming to have been mugged, which leads to rumors that he is gay. His longtime crush, Katie Deauxma (Lyndsy Fonseca) – who previously ignored him – is suddenly interested in befriending him because of the rumors, and he chooses to play along in an effort to spend time with her.

On a subsequent crime-fighting escapade a bystander records the event, during which Dave is heard calling himself "Kick-Ass". The video becomes an Internet phenomenon, and Dave sets up a MySpace account so people can contact Kick-Ass for help. Katie tells Dave that she is being harassed by a drug dealer named Rasul. Kick-Ass tracks down the drug dealer to warn him off, but is subdued by the dealer's henchmen, who appear intent on killing him. He is rescued by 11-year old vigilante Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz), who kills his attackers then leaves with her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage). They inform him that they believe he has potential, but that he needs to be more careful. They give him a method to contact them when needed.

Big Daddy is Damon Macready, a good cop who was framed as a drug dealer by local crime boss Frank D'Amico (Mark Strong). While Damon was in prison, his wife died giving birth to their daughter, Mindy. On his release, Damon reclaimed Mindy from her legal guardian (Damon's former partner, New York Police Department Sergeant Marcus Williams) and trained her to fight crime as "Hit-Girl", while he assumed the costumed identity "Big Daddy". Williams disagrees with Macready's methods, but chooses not to intervene.

Believing Kick-Ass to be responsible for damage done to his organization, D'Amico orders his men to find and eliminate him. His son, Chris (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), suggests a different approach. Chris assumes the costumed identity "Red Mist" to befriend Kick-Ass and lure him into a trap. The trap is undone by Big Daddy, who independently kills D'Amico's men and sets the building on fire before Red Mist and Kick-Ass arrive. Following his escape from the warehouse fire, Dave determines to quit being Kick-Ass. He confesses the truth to Katie, and she forgives him and becomes his girlfriend.

A week later, Dave finds a series of urgent messages from Red Mist, requesting they meet. Telling Katie that he has to make one last appearance as Kick-Ass before retiring the identity, Dave agrees to meet Red Mist. The meeting is a ruse designed to get Kick-Ass to identify Big Daddy as the perpetrator of the warehouse massacre. Kick-Ass inadvertently leads D'Amico's men to one of the Macreadys' safe houses, where Kick-Ass and Big Daddy are captured and Hit-Girl is apparently killed. D'Amico intends to have his thugs torture and execute his captives in a live Internet broadcast viewed by millions, including Katie and Marcus, who are both powerless to intervene. Hit-Girl, who survived the shooting, arrives and kills all the gangsters; during the struggle one thug sets Big Daddy on fire. He and Hit-Girl say a tearful farewell before he succumbs to his injuries. Kick-Ass tries to convince Hit-Girl to quit her dangerous lifestyle, but she plans to finish what her father started, and Kick-Ass reluctantly agrees to help.

In the assault on D'Amico's headquarters, Hit-Girl kills most of the henchmen but runs out of ammunition and is pinned in the penthouse kitchen under fire. Kick-Ass arrives in the nick of time on a jet pack fitted with gatling guns, and kills the remaining thugs. Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl then take on D'Amico and his son. Kick-Ass fights Red Mist but they manage to knock each other out. Hit-Girl fights D'Amico, but she is eventually overpowered. As D'Amico is about to finish off Hit-Girl, Kick-Ass comes to the rescue armed with the rocket launcher, blasting D'Amico out of the window where he explodes in mid-air. Red Mist revives in time to see Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl leaving on the jet pack, and is powerless to stop them.

Mindy and Dave retire from crime fighting to live a more normal life. Mindy returns to live with Marcus, and enrolls at Dave's school. Dave explains that although he is done with crime fighting, a new "generation" of superheroes have been inspired by his endeavor, and the city is safer as a result. Red Mist is shown donning a new mask as he quotes Jack Nicholson as the Joker, "As a great man once said, 'Wait till they get a load of me'."^[6]

Fourteen-year-old Katara (Nicola Peltz) and her fifteen-year-old brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), are near a river at the South Pole. While hunting, they discover an iceberg that shoots a beam of light into the sky. Inside of the iceberg is a boy named Aang (Noah Ringer) and a flying bison named Appa. Unknown to them, Aang is the long lost Avatar – the only person on the planet able to “bend” all four elements. One hundred years have passed since the Fire Nation has declared war on the other three nations of Air, Water and Earth in their attempt to conquer the world.

Zuko (Dev Patel), an exiled prince of the Fire Nation, is on a quest to find the Avatar and bring him as prisoner to his father, Fire Lord Ozai (Cliff Curtis). Seeing the light that appeared from Aang's release, Zuko and some Fire Nation soldiers arrive at the Southern Water Tribe to demand the villagers hand over the Avatar. Aang reveals himself as he surrenders himself to Zuko on the condition that he agrees to leave the village alone. On the ship, Aang is tested by Zuko's Uncle Iroh (Shaun Toub) to confirm him to be the Avatar. After being informed that he is to be their prisoner for passing the test, Aang escapes using his glider and flies to his flying bison brought by Katara and Sokka. Aang and his new friends visit the Southern Air Temple and he learns that he was in the ice for a whole century and that the Fire Nation wiped out all Air Nomads, including his guardian, Monk Gyatso. In despair, he enters the Avatar state and finds himself in the spirit world where he encounters a dragon spirit that tells him to make his way to the Northern Water Tribe to master Water Bending.

While at a small Earth Kingdom town controlled by the Fire Nation, Aang's group is arrested because Katara tries to help a young boy from a patrol. They incite a rebellion by reminding the disgruntled Earthbenders that earth was given to them. Katara is given a Waterbending scroll that she uses to perfect her Waterbending and help Aang learn as they make their way to the Northern Water Tribe and liberate more Earth Kingdom villages in the process.

During a side track to the Northern Air Temple on his own, Aang is betrayed by a peasant and captured by a group of Fire Nation archers, led by Admiral Zhao (Aasif Mandvi), a Fire Nation Admiral appointed by the Fire Lord. However, a masked marauder, the "Blue Spirit", helps Aang escape from his imprisonment. Zuko is the masked vigilante, and Zhao realizes this. He arranges to kill the prince. Zuko survives the attempt on his life with Iroh's help. He sneaks aboard Zhao's lead ship as his fleet departs for the Northern Water Tribe to capture the Avatar. Upon arriving, Aang's group is welcomed warmly by the citizens of the Northern Water Tribe. Immediately, Sokka befriends the Northern Water Tribe princess, Yue (Seychelle Gabriel). After a few agreements, a waterbending master, Pakku (Francis Guinan), teaches Aang waterbending.

Soon, the Fire Nation arrives and Zhao begins his attack while Zuko begins his search for the Avatar on his own, capturing Aang as he enters the spirit world to find the dragon spirit to give him the wisdom to defeat the Fire Nation. Returning to his body, Aang battles Zuko before Katara freezes him. As the battle escalates, Iroh watches Zhao capture the moon spirit Tui, which with its water spirit counterpart had assumed the form of a fish. Despite Iroh's pleas, Zhao kills Tui to strip the Waterbenders of their powers and abilities to Waterbend. Yue explains to everyone that the moon spirit gave her life, willing to gave it back as she dies in the process. With the tables turned, Zhao is drowned by Waterbenders after Zuko and Iroh leave him to his fate. Aang uses the ocean to drive the armada back. Aang now fully embraces his destiny as the Avatar as he, Katara and Sokka prepare to continue their journey to the Earth Kingdom to find an earthbending teacher for Aang. The Fire Lord learns of the defeat, and he appoints his daughter Azula (Summer Bishil) to capture the Avatar.

like the 1st day of work again,

i came from a long vacation, i was on vacation leave for 3days and followed by my 2 days off. I was excited coming to work but a bit nervous because i haven't heard any updates about work.I was not able to text my colleagues from work since i am busy staying at home...
i know that i should prepare myself for todays work  and followed by thes 2 important things:
Have a Positive Attitude
Nothing works better -- in all situations -- than having and expressing a positive attitude. Let your enthusiasm for being part of the team and the organization show to everyone you interact with. And always leave non-work problems at home.
Show Your Team Spirit
You are now part of a work team, and teams work together to solve problems and get the job done. Show loyalty to your co-workers and focus more -- initially at least -- on sharing any recognition you get with the team. Always give credit to the team.

fiesta Sta.Ana

it was the other day that i had the chance to visit my family in Sta.Ana Manila. Its the town fiesta we got there exactly 5:00pm and my mama was still cooking Adobo,Fried chicken, Mechado and even pancit.although earlier that day papa already had a visitor which is actually his brother my tito and one of the suitor of my sister.Goodthing i was not able to see them,because i dont like to see them...its just that i dont want.Then around 8:00pm 2 of my cousin got into the party ate marivic and her sister yeye...followed by my auntie anne and thelma together with my uncle dotdot but he needs to left earlier since he still have work that night.


Im so happy and thankfull that i was partying w/ my closest relatives and my beloved family It was a stupendous summer evening and we all had a great time. Well, I was delighted anyway.I counted my self very lucky.


It was a night of fun we shared stories belief and news that we have for the past years.

Official Easy A Trailer - In Theaters 9/17

Olive Penderghast lies to her best friend, Rhiannon, about going on a date in order to get out of camping. Instead she hangs around the house all weekend, listening to "Pocketful of Sunshine". The following Monday, pressed by Rhiannon, Olive lies about losing her virginity to a college guy. Marianne, a girl at their school who is a zealous Christian, overhears her telling the lie and soon it spreads like wildfire.

The school has a conservative church group run by Marianne who decides Olive will be their next project. The group's harassment, disguised as concern, comes to head at an English class taught by Mr. Griffith. The class is reading The Scarlet Letter, a novel about adultery and shame. When one of the girls from the church group makes a snide comment to Olive suggesting Olive wear a red A as well, Olive shoots back and Mr. Griffith sends her to the principal's office. During her detention she tells her friend Brandon the truth, and he explains how others bully him for being gay.

Brandon comes over later and asks Olive to pretend to sleep with him so that he will be accepted by everyone else at school. Brandon convinces Olive and they pretend to have sex at a party. Afterwards she bumps into Todd, whom she almost kissed years ago during seven minutes in heaven but instead agreed to lie about it when he said he was not ready.

After having a fight with Rhiannon over her (Olive's) new identity as a "dirty skank", Olive decides to counteract the harassment by embracing her new image as the school tramp. She begins to wear more provocative clothing and stitches a red 'A' (a la Hester Prynne in The Scarlet Letter) to everything she wears. Boys who usually have had no luck with girls in the past begin to give her gift cards and money to say they have had sex with her in order to increase their own popularity, which in turn increases her reputation.

Olive comes to short-lived understanding with Marianne, but it is ruined when Marianne's boyfriend Micah gets chlamydia and lies that Olive gave it to him. Olive sees Mrs. Griffith, the guidance counselor and her teacher's wife, who tearfully confesses that she slept with Micah. Olive promises to take the blame to save Mrs. Griffith's job and marriage. Rhiannon, partly jealous of the attention Olive is getting, joins the church group and starts harassing her former best friend.

Olive soon realizes that, though everyone thinks she is sleeping around, no one will actually date her. This changes when Anson comes up to her and asks her out. The date goes sour when Olive sees Rhiannon at the restaurant and remembers she has a crush on Anson. In the parking lot, Anson attempts to pay her off; Olive asks what they will say happened but Anson thinks he will actually get sex and tries to kiss her. She resists and he drives off. Todd, who works at the restaurant, sees her and offers to drive her home.

Todd tells her that he does not believe the rumor mill, he remembers when she lied for him because he wasn't ready for his first kiss and thinks she is actually great. He says he wishes she actually was his first kiss, and not Rhi. Todd then asks for permission to kiss Olive but she says no, wanting to wait until she sorts out her life.

Olive goes to the boys that propositioned her and demands they admit that the rumors are all lies but they refuse. When she goes to Mrs. Griffith to make her come clean, she refuses and implies that no one would believe Olive over her. Olive runs to Mr. Griffith and tells him the truth but immediately regrets how she did it, realizing she just destroyed a marriage.

To get everything finally in the open, she does a song and dance number at a pep rally and pretends she will be doing a sex show via web cam with Todd. In actuality she confesses what she has done. She also makes up with Rhi, apologizing for lying. When she is finishing up, Todd comes by riding a lawnmower, holding a boombox and tells her to come out. She closes her web cam confession saying she really likes Todd and maybe she will lose her virginity to him in the future but at the end of the day it is no one's business but her own. She leaves the house to kiss him and they ride off from the neighborhood on the lawnmower.

I have watch this film last night with sippin TANDUAY ICE and LAYS CLASSIC!!! LOVE IT...

Burke Ryan (Aaron Eckhart), is a successful Ph.D. and author of a self-help book that gives advice about dealing with the loss of a loved one. He writes the book after his wife dies in a car accident as a way to deal with the grief. While giving a workshop in Seattle, where his wife was from, he meets Eloise (Jennifer Aniston), a woman who works as a florist. It seems, however, that Burke has not been following his own advice, and in fact has not been dealing with the loss of his wife. In the end, he confesses to an audience that he was driving the car, and not his wife, as he previously maintained. Due to this, he blames himself for her death. Eloise, along with his wife's father, (Martin Sheen), help Burke move past his wife's death. Burke goes to Eloise, telling her that she had spent the last few days getting to know the part of him that was not available and wondered was she interested in getting to know the part of him that was available. At the end of the movie, Burke's father in law (Sheen) breaks the fourth wall in an unusual way—instead of addressing the audience, as he walks away from the camera, he says “good bye” to the audience, goes in the front door of the house and then shuts the door, as thecredits roll.

Whatever I am today, whatever I have achieved...I owe to my mom. She has taught me well.
My mom was not the typical mom who would wake up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for us...or is she the type who'd cook merienda for us so that by the time we get home from school there'd be hot food served in the table. No.. No. Mom was more than that. She is the working-mom-kind-of-mother. She is the working-mom-kind-of-mother (a clerck / janitress / messanger ) who works 8hours or more that everyday then at night she still a BARANGAY TANOD then goes back home and faces the household chores.

Mama is very intelligent. I admire her for what she knows and for being so cool about it. Ask her any question and she is always have an answer.She's so brave that eventhough shes a girl she can still manage to negotiate to a man handling a knife and a gun.She often challenges my values, my convictions - only to make sure that I keep the right ones,

The wisdom that my mom shared with me is simply priceless.

Whether I am in the office or simply at home...whether in the church counselling or having coffe with my friends, everything that my mom has taught me still springs out from deep within me. The people that I talk to would sometimes asks me where I get such wisdom...and I tell them its coming right from the heart. I know its also a pool of past experiences, but without a mother guiding you as you go through life, my paths would have been different.

Even at the point where she was old and getting weaker? she was still full of wisdom. I have always enjoyed talking with her because there was always some new things and revelations that I get out of that exchange of words. She was the best, if not the bestest.
So, why do I love my mom?
1. She was God's gift to me. From her, I learned everything that I needed to learn in order to survive in this challenging world.
2. She taught me the real meaning of love (outside of emotions) and forgiveness and patience.
3. She was a mother who took care of all our needs.
4. She was a friend who took time to listen whether I had a happy story to tell or otherwise.
5. She was my teacher : teaching me the what's and what's not of this world

I can only thank God for my mom because without her, I would not have been brought into this world and enjoy the life I am enjoying now.
I am grateful for every minute I have spent with her when she was still alive. I realized that as she watched me grow,It was out of pure love and selflessness and sacrifice. I love you mama. She is the Best!
But today i recieved the saddest news about my mom.My sister apple told me that Mama was diagnose with a Breast Cancer.At first I couldn't believe because the last time I saw her she looks so healthy.I need to be strong for my Mama for I know that she'll be okay since she is brave person.Mama can overcome this challenge in her life.We'll be there for her no matter what.


Im just thinking that every time I go to church and asked God to protect my love ones and give them strength and make them healthy,Maybe God wasn't heard me that much for I trust him and Ill make him heard me so ill talk to him more.

Sand and Stone

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE."

Her boyfriend asked her, "now that you can see the world, will you marry me?" The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him.
